Several months ago one of my clients posted on social media that she would be sponsoring a young person for prom this year. That post stayed with me for several weeks, it was just a really great thing to do for someone. I reached out to let her know I was interested in helping out. Lets face it… Senior year is one of thee most expensive moments for parents and unfortunately there are just some things that may not be in the budget for parents.
I really want to thank Mrs. Tararra for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful moment. Nykira is such a beautiful person with an amazing story. Her Date Roderick, was such the gentleman, from caring the train of her dress to helping her in the car. I’m sure they had a wonderful time at their Prom. Which was held at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot in downtown Atlanta.
Please take sometime to View Nykira and Roderick’s Prom, You’ll love it!
Special Thanks to the wonderful people who helped with this very special moment:

Congratulations to the #classof2017. Especially those that I had the opportunity of capturing. You all have worked so very hard to get to this point and I hope this next chapter in your life takes you to places you’ve never imagined! From Graduating from the #universityofgeorgia, to being accepting to #univeristyofalabama , #pfeifferuniversity , and the #universityofwestgeorgia ! You all are an amazing group of young adults!
What a joy it was to shoot this beauty. Jaiyda was in the Atlanta area visiting the campus of #ClarkAtlantaUniversity which will soon be her college home starting in the fall!
Jaiyda’s a very smart, hardworking and dedicated young lady, that is very determined to be successful. Clark Atlanta was one of her top schools to attend, so I was truly excited when I found out she was accepted… plus I’ll be able to see her more often!!
I’m wishing her much success and happiness as she starts this new chapter in her life! Continue to reach for SUCCESS, you deserve it!
I met Brooklynn in 2013, while capturing her and her bestie for High School portraits. Now this beauty is Graduating from #UGA with a degree in Education!!! How very exciting this moment is for her and her wonderful family.
Being accepted to a University such as UGA straight out of High School and now graduating, are not a small Accomplishments. As with every college graduate You deserve to be celebrated. So, I celebrate your accomplishments and pray that the career path your on leads you to moments of pride, change, and self fulfillment.
Thank you for wanting to give back by educating the children that are our future!
I hope you all enjoying, especially the moment shared between Brooklynn and her mom with Dr. Seuss. I think the title is perfect for this moment!
When I received the call from Blake’s mom about his Senior portraits, I was so excited! He wanted his portraits taken in the city near Off the Hook Barber shop on Peters Street. He’s gotten his hair cut there since he was a young kid. Making these types of memories, is why I love what I do! Plus I love when client’s want to shoot in the city!
Blake is a very respectful and wonderful young man. His chill time is when he’s skateboarding. He’s looking forward to attending Georgia State or Georgia Southern while studying International Business with a minor in Spanish.
This was a wonderful shoot, I’m very grateful to have met Blake and his family! Blake, I wish you the best and Pray your determination and dedication takes you to places you never dreamed of!
Make your mark on the world!
Please Enjoy the wonderful portraits from his shoot!
Capturing Tre for his Senior Portraits was Great! He is just absolutely amazing in front of the camera. He’s that young guy that whenever you see him, he has that big smile and you feel as though you’ve known him forever!
Tre’s enjoying his Senior Year and just embracing the friendships he’s gained over the years…As he puts it, “it’s kind of a bitter sweet moment”. And anyone who enjoyed Their Senior year understands what he’s talking about.
But I hope you enjoy The portraits from Tre’s Session as much as I did.
Congratulations Tre, wishing you the best…make it the best year ever!
