Just like their Fall engagement shoot, Barry & Topaz Wedding was Absolutely Beautiful! There was so much Love surrounding them. The weather was great and the Historic Fourth Ward Park was the perfect spot for a #WelcomeToLillyLand Theme!
They both wrote their vows, which left you understanding their love for each other. Their relationship is built not only with love but friendship, respect, support, and confirmation that they see the beauty in each other.
From the mist of water blessing them during the ceremony, to Topaz mom showing up in the beautiful form of a Rainbow(that you will surly see throughout the images). I felt blessed to be apart of this wonderful union. They will forever be apart of the Gober family.
Barry & Topaz Lilly, I Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a blessing to my life, you both bring such Happiness and Love to those who are in your presence. I Pray for continued love and blessings for your Union.
A special thanks to so many who helped make this day a success for the Lilly’s:
I had such an amazing time capturing the Perfect10 band. They all are just wonderfuul people and made me feel like I was apart of their family.
I knew they were looking for new images for their website, so before our shoot I had the opportunity to view their old website and learn more about them as individuals and as a band. I will just say, I was really blown away from all the amazing Talent in one group. They have worked and played for some of the greatest artist in the country…from Gloria Gayner, India Arie, Outkast, and Janelle Monae,Photos, Pat Metheny, and Melanie Fiona…just to name a few!
I’m grateful for the amazing opportunity that Perfect10 band gave me. I see why they feel so much like a family on and off stage and what makes them the Perfect10! I’m extremely proud of the work that was done to showcase their talent, personality and the absolute beauty of their band.
Perfect10band is the band to call if you’re looking for a wedding or any event. They will bring true talent, and a party that your guest will never forget!
It was truly a hot summers day in Georgia, but love was in the air! Sophia was happy and Brian was excited and Nervous…He said “I just want her to have the perfect day.” Though this as their day, his main concern was her being happy.
And it was just that…Perfect!
The ceremony was beautiful, from the minister having them pray for one another to having them both ask for forgiveness for anything they may have done or said in the past. Giving Brian and Sophia a fresh start on the new chapter in their life as husband and wife!
Sophia & Brian, I thank you both for allowing me this opportunity of capturing your special Wedding Day! I pray your Union is forever blessed and that you both continue to believe, pray and forgive one another.
Though the date was April 1st, there were no jokes being made. After all, Trey & Tiffany were getting married and this was a day of Celebration!
This day was filled with moments of happy tears and moments of laughter that would be shared just between Trey & Tiffany! This was the beginning of their union. Witnessing love not only between the two of them but the love that was shown from their family and friends. I couldn’t help but admire Tiffany’s Grandmother while they were embracing, and the beautiful smile on Trey’s Mothers face when she danced with her son. These were Priceless Moments!
The Piedmont Room was the perfect place to showcase their love for each other and their love for Travel. Trey and Tiffany worked with the amazing Eternity Events by B. Simms team to bring their Travel inspired Wedding to life. From their signature drink “Happily Ever After” to the beautifully themed (favorite places to travel)table décor. I would say…they were giving their guest a peek inside their love for travel!
So no, this wasn’t your typical April Fools Day, but it was the beginning of Mr. & Mrs. Ashley’s Life together as husband and wife, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity of capturing this beautiful moment!
Special thanks to the wonderful team that helped make this day a success for Trey and Tiffany:
There have been moments that I’ve found myself smiling, laughing and even shedding a couple of tears this year… not from sadness, but because I’ve been able to witness Love in so many ways from my clients.
We all express love in different ways, it may be a look, a touch, or even our words but how ever we choose to show it…it’s Love. Accept it, appreciate it and embrace it.
My love for 2015, is because of the many loving beautiful people who let me into their lives to see how they love. Thank you all for being in the moment, for being comfortable enough that you could display your love in the presence of me and baby Jean(my camera). Your smiles and love will forever be apart of my heart.
Please, click and enjoy some of the love I’ve had the pleasure of capturing in 2015!
A family of love! Mom and Dad holding hands, I had to pause for a moment to let them know I appreciate it. It’s the little things.
Love between a mother and her child.

Being a wedding photographer I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of wonderful people. But I felt the need to show some appreciation for the Wedding/Events Coordinator Industry. This particular industry plays a huge part in a successful Wedding.
My recent experience was with the company Events by Ardeen. From the very beginning of booking they were very detailed, helpful and extremely professional.
When I think of a wedding coordinator, I think of a person who makes sure the bride is stress free and seeing that the day goes smooth. But that’s not all…don’t get me wrong those are some very important things, but there’s so much more to it.
Some of the things I liked that Ms. Ardeen timeline helped me with were:
-The names of all the venders with name telephone number and or address.
-hotel accommodations for the bride
– the music…this allowed me to get to know the couple even more. We all have our favorite song that maybe reminds us of special moments. I listened to some of the songs I wasn’t familiar with and watched some of the videos.
-though usually I have my own agenda for the after wedding family portraits…I was so appreciative that she had a big enough staff that she made sure we got those images but more importantly, that we didn’t go over into the bride and grooms personal and intimate portrait time.
Though things happen on special occasions that are sometimes out of man’s control…remember that your wedding day is just that…Yours. Work with someone who sees your vision and who wants your day to be just as special and stress free as you.
So for all you wonderful beautiful brides, I encourage a Wedding coordinator (if it’s within your budget). You will be so extremely happy you did.
Sending all wedding/event planners a wonderful smile, high five and especially an appreciation for all that you do…This spotlight shines bright just for you.
Arriving at Berkeley Hills Country Club I could feel that fall was just around the corner, and Love was in the air. The wind was blowing and the temperature was just right for a outdoor wedding. it’s amazing what little time is needed in order to stop, breath and relax. I can see why the Kwesi and Orion chose this Beautiful Country Club.
Kwesi walked into the ballroom being escorted by his father, not knowing what his beautiful bride looked like from under the mask he was wearing. Orion smiled and laughed, and when they were finally close to each other Kwesi asked…can I touch her?
They touched each other and it was like they didn’t want to let each other go. The both of them complimented each other on how good they smelled. These moments always seem to be my favorite…because I see and feel when they’ve started to embrace the moment they’ve been waiting for.
I love that Orion and Kwesi decided to celebrate their #10yearweddinganniversery by showing their continued love for each other with family and friends.
Thank you Kwesi and Orion for allowing me to be apart of such a beautiful day in your lives. Your love for each other was a joy to capture and is truly appreciated. May you always pray together, laugh together and run together!
Special thanks to:
The Bride and Grooms fantastic friends and family, you all are a group of wonderful people who embraced me from the moment of meeting. I love your love and support for Kwesi and Orion!
In the South on a beautiful hot summer day, Cedreon greeted me with her beautiful warm smile while getting her hair styled. Their day was finally here…with every hair piece, lipstick, or eye shadow she put on it turned her into an even more beautiful bride, I couldn’t help but think of why #LOVEWINS.
When I arrived at the venue Historic Fourth Ward Park, I had a moment with the handsome groom, Ajay. He’s such a layed back chill kind of guy. I told him how beautiful Cedreon looked, He said “Really…you saw her”? The mention of her beauty left him with such a wonderful loving smile. This was love!
Ajay looked to the top of the staircase, at that moment I knew he was Embracing every moment of Cedreon’s beauty. She made it to the bottom of the staircase and her Grandfather gave Ajay his blessing by placing her hand in his. As Ajay walked her down the aisle, he whispered to her…”you look Beautiful!”
Ajay & Cedreon,Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your Union. Your wedding day was Beautiful, I pray for many Blessings and continued Love throughout your marriage. Thank you for letting #lovewin
The day was absolutely beautiful and i’m truly appreciative for all that helped make it such a success for the bride and groom
I am so grateful to have been apart of Jamal and Danielle’s wedding day. They had a wonderful support system and they looked absolutely beautiful together. With the two of their amazing smiles, they will always light up any room they walk into.
They are definitely Gods gift to Love.
Wishing Mr. & Mrs. Williams a lifetime of Happiness and Love
Secret love letters, that make you smile with love.
From the moment the bride was revealed to her bridesmaids, the day continued to be magical.
