Mr. & Mrs. Ashley

Though the date was April 1st, there were no jokes being made.   After all, Trey & Tiffany were getting married and this was a day of Celebration!

This day was filled with moments of happy tears and moments of laughter that would be shared just between Trey & Tiffany!   This was the beginning of their union.  Witnessing love not only between the two of them but the love that was shown from their family and friends.  I couldn’t help but admire Tiffany’s Grandmother while they were embracing, and the beautiful smile on Trey’s Mothers face when she danced with her son.  These were Priceless Moments!

The Piedmont Room was the perfect place to showcase their love for each other and their love for Travel.  Trey and Tiffany worked with the amazing Eternity Events by B. Simms team to bring their Travel inspired Wedding to life.  From their signature drink “Happily Ever After” to the beautifully themed (favorite places to travel)table décor.   I would say…they were giving their guest a peek inside their love for travel!

So no, this wasn’t your typical April Fools Day, but it was the beginning of Mr. & Mrs. Ashley’s Life together as husband and wife, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity of capturing this beautiful moment!

Special thanks to the wonderful team that helped make this day a success for Trey and Tiffany:

Shinning a Spotlight on Wedding Coordinators!

Being a wedding photographer I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of wonderful people. But I felt the need to show some appreciation for the Wedding/Events Coordinator Industry.  This particular industry plays a huge part in a successful Wedding.
My recent experience was with the company Events by Ardeen. From the very beginning of booking they were very detailed, helpful and extremely professional.

When I think of a wedding coordinator, I think of a person who makes sure the bride is stress free and seeing that the day goes smooth. But that’s not all…don’t get me wrong those are some very important things, but there’s so much more to it.
Some of the things I liked that Ms. Ardeen timeline helped me with were:
-The names of all the venders with name telephone number and or address.
-hotel accommodations for the bride
– the music…this allowed me to get to know the couple even more. We all have our favorite song that maybe reminds us of special moments. I listened to some of the songs I wasn’t familiar with and watched some of the videos.
-though usually I have my own agenda for the after wedding family portraits…I was so appreciative that she had a big enough staff that she made sure we got those images but more importantly,  that we didn’t go over into the  bride and grooms personal and intimate portrait time.
Though things happen on special occasions that are sometimes out of man’s control…remember that your wedding day is just that…Yours. Work with someone who sees your vision and who wants your day to be just as special and stress free as you.

So for all you wonderful beautiful brides, I encourage a Wedding coordinator (if it’s within your budget). You will be so extremely happy you did.

Sending all wedding/event planners a wonderful smile, high five and especially an appreciation for all that you do…This spotlight shines bright just for you.
