Graham’s Holiday Shoot!

Those of you who follow me on Instagram may have seen a sneak peek of this extremely handsome little fella!  This is Graham, and it was a pure joy to work with…from his smile, his curiosity and his dance moves we had a really good time on this shoot.  As I sat editing his portraits I began to smile, because his smile made me smile.  Thank you Graham for such a wonderful shoot and for being such a wonderful happy little boy.

Enjoy!

The Ashley’s got married on April 1st 2016  and now their Expecting A Baby!!!

It’s always a joy for me to be apart of such an amazing moment like this one.  Trey and Tiffany are still loving each other and laughing together but more importantly, enjoying this new chapter in their lives.  I’m so excited for them and praying that God blesses the little bundle of joy they are soon to receive!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Wishing you all a wonderful Mother’s Day.

As a mother, I appreciate being a mom Everyday…even when they can’t seem to get along ( Hi Laila…she reads my blog).  :).

Being a mom is what I wanted, and  everyday I learn what it means to be more understanding, more  patient and yes, even a more Loving mom. But today I thought about how there are some women who never really  saw being a mom as one of their titles.  But because of circumstances they’ve taken on that mother role anyway.

What do I mean by circumstances? We have lived in a world for many years where there are #Aunties, #Godparents, #Foster parents, #Social Workers and others that have taken on the role of a mother.   Regardless of the situation,  they decided to Love, protect, and care for  a child or children because they Care.

So I would just like to say Happy Mothers Day and thank you to them  also, for if it had not been for them, some of us Mothers wouldn’t be the most fantastic mothers out there today.

I hope you all enjoy today as much as I will!

One more special 1st Mothers day To My God Daughter Penelope’s Mom, I love you Leslie!

Closet clean out Part 2

So I finally finished gathering, hanging and tagging the girls clothes and shoes for the Kidsignments sale!

I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Jeri the wonderful lady who runs this event when I dropped off my items on Friday.  She is so sweet, she allowed me to take several pictures while I was there.  I wanted to give you all an idea of how big this event is, I choose to drop of on Friday which was the first day so what I captured isn’t even close to what the warehouse will look like come Tuesday the 16th when the doors are opened to the public.

The Event will be held on 2/16-2/20 from 9am -7pm, on the 18th and 19th items are 25% off (tags that are not marked NR only), then on the 20th it’s 50% off items(tags that are not marked NR only).

Keep in mind that  on Tuesday the 16th they ask that No children, infants, carriers, or strollers until after 2pm.  If you would like more information visit http://www.kidsignments.com

Have a look at the images…but just know that there’s over 1,500 families that sale at this event, and I only captured day one of drop off.

Emoji is in the building!

My oldest and I worked on a nice quick DIY project on Monday.
We made her very own face changeable wall Emoji! This was a great idea, it was quick and very inexpensive. She loves emoji’s and it was a great #motherdaughtertime for us.
What you’ll need to make your Wall Emoji come to life.

1. 2yards of Yellow fleece fabric $2.40 per yard from JoAnn Fabric.
2. Hulla hoop, this was the size we wanted for our Emoji.
3. Printable cut outs. We got our print outs on line
4. Felt fabric squares. Hobby Lobby 4 for a $1 plus the 40% off coupon.
5. Velcro I didn’t want to nail it to the wall. This way she can move it around.

Total cost: 9bucks!

If you decide to make your own, please share your Emoji with me I’d love to see it!
